I finally finished painting my bathroom yesterday :) I first had to paint it white again because the new color shone through, so double work...but SO worth it!
This is a before:
A nice egg shell blue, but because no windows....it looked too dark and cold
NEW pink bathroom. It looks SO nice and warm now, I love it!!
Shower area, I need some nice picture or something to spruce it up...but it needs to be water resistant ofcourse ;)
LOL a funny thing my BFF A. brought me last year. She and her family stayed in a farm in France, and when she saw this PINK toiletpaper she said I am going to get this for Marian...the sweet girl haha
I made this small guest towel myself, added the lace....love it...a nice finishing touch.
NOW I still need some small tweeking here and there but the main work is done. I am also planning on painting the kitchen and my foyer...NOT this color pink . But it will be white with a hint of pink, I don't like stark white walls.

hey Marian,,,
oh how I envy you! a sweet pink bathroom.....my hubby draws the line at Pink! lol! and with no little girl at home I don't even have an excuse to deco the guest bath in pink....well, I do manage to incorporate some pink with my greens... : > )

It looks wonderful! Reminds me of the bathroom at my grandma's house....her favorite color was also pink.

@Kristin, yes I remember the colored paper too. WE never had that here, but remember it from Canada eons ago. I always use the white with little embossed white flowers haha. This Pink is just for show ;)

How pretty! I bet you are loving that. And I remember the colored toilet paper. I miss it. Now it's just white. But it had something to do with the dye and irritation or something like that. But I miss it anyway.

i sure do like it better pink. i am a warm color girl. i am doing my kitchen and livingroom now. its a buttermilk color with a slight green instead of yellow hint of color. i love the shower. i will show papa. then he can do my tub for me. thanks dutchy. happy days sherrye

Oh Dutchy, Love your pink bathroom. My bathroom is also pink. But a really light pink color. I wanted to go darker but my husband was'nt real thrilled about that. So I did a light shade of pink.
But I'm thinking in about 6 months to go darker. I just want tell him this time. It will be a surprise. HEE!HEE!
