This is sooo pretty! My co-worker and I went to the thrift on our lunch hour, and I found this. Violet might be a year or two away from wearing it, but I had to have it, especially at 50 cents!!!! The color and style are just too perfect, and whoever made it, made it with love. Great construction, and gorgeous detail!

Thanks, girls! Karin--it's so good to hear from you! Been thinking about you up there in Maine, and wondering how this winter has been treating you!?
The dress washed up so nicely--and of course I put it on her as soon as I got home! It's a little big (snort!), a little long, but OH SO PRETTY!!!! She seemed to know how pretty it was, because she ran around and kept swinging it around her, turning from side to side. Very cute. Like Kathy said, what a deal for 50 cents!

Jonni I made a dress like that for my daughter 26 years ago, with pantaloons that went under it, she loved it. What a bargin at 50 cents.

Oh you'll just love shopping for her, Karla! I have so much fun--since most of Violet's wardrobe comes from the thrift store, it's mostly "one of a kind" and usually vintage or hand made :) Enjoy and congratulations!!!
