Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 1:30:49 PM Hello, My oldest son who is stationed at Fort Campbell KY has asked me to come down to pick up his hot rod 2005 GTO. Drive it back to WI to store while he is deployed in Afghanistan for the next year. So I am heading to Nashville on February 4th to spend the weekend with him and then bring his baby home. WooHoo! 500 horse power at the drop of a hat. Down side snow! Since it has summer performance tires, rides inches off the ground and does not like cold it should be a huge adventure. My thought is is there any FarmGirls out there that might want to meet up? I know it will be Superbowl Sunday any one want to watch the game?

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 6:08:43 PM I'm in Indiana a little south of Indianapolis. If you wanted to stop for a little leg stretchin or to have a soda somewhere I could meet you there for a chat! I'm afraid you wouldn't want to try to tackle the backroad we live on in the snow drivin GTO. We have ditches bigger than that car! You can email me if you want to schedule a soda stop. If you're more of a 'drive till ur home' person I understand. My DH is that way and I drive him nuts with my wantin to stop all the time. Enjoy the sweet wheels Girl!

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 1:53:08 PM Well, you're going to be SUPER close to both Miss Wilma, the most farmgirl of all the farmgirls, featured in Mary Jane's Life Book, and Miss Bee Haven, and I think there are a few other gals from round those parts. Shoot them an email and see what you can get into!!!
I'm up north and have a going away party that weekend that I'm hosting--drat--good opportunity to meet far-flung farmgirls!
