Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 12:35:43 PM I just ordered two dresses from Ebay, and when I got 2 of them, it is only the sheer top dress but not the dress that is supposed to go under it. Like they are normally knit or nylon. Is it normal for them to send just a top part of the dress? I'm a little perturbed. The listing was true, but I assumed the dress was wearable, but without this underneath, it isn't. :( What a waste of money.

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 6:56:09 PM Thanks Nini. I did contact the seller after I posted this today to see what the story was. It seems shady to me to list something like that. I hate to give someone a bad feedback as I usually have a lot of fun and know that I generally avoid people whose ratings aren't 100% when I am looking to buy. hugs Jessie

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 2:40:30 PM Jess - did you contact the seller? They shouldn't have sent it to you like that without it being stated as such in the auction. If the seller doesn't cooperate, you can always contact ebay about the item not being as described, and also put in a claim against the seller through PayPal. Sometimes the sellers can be shifty... they post a picture of one thing but the description is of something altogether different. I learned that lesson one time. Not all ebay sellers are dishonest, truly; but it sure does make you sore when you get ripped off. I'm so sorry if that's what happened. Ebay may want to be notified about that if this is the case. Sellers like that are bad for business. You never know, they may favor your dispute and you may have an opportunity to recoup your loss. Good luck! - Nini
