I am thinking ours are going to get laid to rest this Thursday on my day off. I always hate putting it away but in our little living room I must admit it will be nice to have that space back.

I just took the ornaments off the tree tonight. They are still on the table, the tree is still up, and I turned on the lights I missed it so much! So you're not alone Grace!

Yep, I'm on board for Thursday and I think I tend more towards Jonni's way of thinking about Christmas decorations. . . I was ready to regain the room! Plus Labrador tales do not mix with breakable (read "airborne") trimmings.

oops! sorry Marianne...lol! ya joining us for coffee next Thurs?

and Jonni, I hear ya...my poor daughter had to put a child proof gate thing around the tree to keep the babies as well as the dogs from the tree and deco....
I have to laugh when I look at the pics on my post & see the dog/baby proof gaurd...

I guess I'm the only one who was, literally, counting down the days to TAKE them all down!!! Between the dogs and our Violet, I was about to pull my hair out!

One day, I will love it again :)

Ok, it must be time to plan our gardens to cheer ourselves up!! And no more dramatic forum topics, Grace. I thought we were having a kitty funeral, too.

hahaha! no not lazy,,,like me, just don't want to accept that it's all over until next year! lol!
On the plus side,,,my daughter's goats can hardly wait for their treat...they love munching on the Christmas trees,,,which is why we don't put tinsel or spary on snow on the trees....
hohoho.....snif!

I took the decorations off the tree last weekend. They are still in my box next to the tree that is still up in the living room. Am I lazy or what?

I'm glad I'm not the only one saddened by this...

My (real) Christmas tree is still soft and supple. I will miss it...
