Staci and all you wonderful farmgirls!
As I sit here at the computer and read all the congrats, I really am overwhelmed. I told Staci this. I feel as though there are many more deserving.
There is a space deep in my chest (I think my soul) that has opened up...maybe dug out, kind of like when you are digging a post hole..and water is seeping in. Well, that's what I feel like, & the water really is a lump in my throat & water in my eyes. I've been thanked before for things, in nursing, being a neighbor, friend, at church, from my parents, kids and husband. But this has touched me so much more...maybe because it was so unexpected.
I share this with you all...because YOU ALL are Farmgirls each month. You do special things that no one else may see. You continue doing a job when you don't feel like it, because it needs to be done. Yes, there is something special about a farm girl. We were made from the dirt of the earth, and love all that has a connection to it.
Before I ramble on anymore, may I give my blessings to you all. You are all so special to me. You have all taught me many things, as I have quietly read your posts.
Staci...you are more than a friend...you truly are a sister and I thank you very much!
