I received a Christmas card. NO that is not awesome...although ;)
Nope, this was a very special card. It was by an anonymous fellow villager. He or she wrote:

I give 100 euro's (our currency, about 130 dollar) to a special person every year. THIS year I decided you should receive that amount. I know you didn't have an easy life, so you deserve some happiness!

Included was....YES 100 euro (130 dollar) !!! WOW that was just awesome, I am still totally flabbergasted I was shaking, crying and laughing at the same time, card plus letter in one hand, the money in the other!

This SO made my day, it is SO special to just receive the money from an anonymous giver. I will spend it on something very special, something I will use often and makes me think of that anonymous, wonderful person. With Half I will be able to buy a camera (on sale, it is sale time here), my old one is broken so....YAY!! (read my latest post for the update )

With the other half....I don't know yet, but will be spent on another item I need but couldn't afford.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

That is simply wonderful! What sort of camera are you looking for? Canons are fantastic-Dad got me one for Yule about 4 years ago & it does everything I need it to. Small & easy on the hands. Take lots of pics when you get it!

UPDATE on the camera

Ofcourse I emailed my brother with this wonderful news and also told him I was planning on spending some of it on a new camera. I got an email back : DO NOT buy a camera, Santa has left one here under the tree for you!! WOW .....he had bought me a new camera already! (well, when I said THANK YOU...he told me not to thank him but thank Santa hahaha)My brother is the BEST brother a girl can wish for. SO will not buy a camera now(I will receive it when I visit him this summer )NOW have to think about something else to spend it on, maybe I will just keep it and take it with me to buy something pretty in Thailand

Good for you Marian. How awesome that someone cared enough to Bless You. With all the greed and hatefulness in this world it is heartwarming to know there are decent people still willing to care. God is good! Happy Birthday Jesus! I love your picture of your Christmas Tree!
