Hey Farmgirls!!! There is a special 20/20 tonight, airing 10pm East and 9pm central. It is called 'Be the Change'. The 20/20 team is working with the Bill Gated foundation to bring help and stability to one village at a time. Their goal is to get, with the help and ideas of people, an area self sufficent with clean water, food, and medicine thruout countries that need help. It seems like an amazing show and a great idea. Take at look at the show tonight, ladies!! Put our farmgirl thinking caps on and 'Be the Change'!! Maybe after watching the show, us farmgirls can come up with a group or individual way for a solution and/or help!! Let's give it a shot. Blessings, Linda

The show was awesome. Go to abcnews.com for further details. And www.saveone.net. I will double check that both of these are accurate. One at a time, one person at a time, changes and help can be done!! Blessings, Linda

Wow! Great to know that Bill Gates Foundation is known in other parts of the country too. We hear about the great work they do here in the Seattle area almost every day. The contributions they are making to world health are truly amazing!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Linda, I saw a little bit of this while channel surfing. One of the things they're doing is doing trial runs on this thing that warms underweight babies and preemies without the need of an incubator. They would supply these to poor rural areas somewhere in Asia, I don't remember where. But I thought that was cool, and now that I know the concept behind it, I think that it's an even cooler thing! They have one more trial to do, and then they can start providing it to more people.
