the encouragement from you all is fantastic!!! i know i will have my work cut out for me and going part time will take longer but hey!

ok- all my life i have wanted to teach however i think there are too many wonderful "kids" coming up who need those jobs!

i have for years felt that the elderly need special folks-advocates etc--and i was a caregiver during 7 years of my marriage- and i feel caregivers get the real raw end of the deal.... so!
i am working toward the associate in applied science- human service -when i get to the bachelor program the focus goes much more into gerontology...so---

i think it will be wonderful - i know it will be taxing some times but-ya know what? i am UP for it--and i may call on many of you for help or a shoulder!!!!!!

and i LOVE being a student!!!!

Good for you Margo! It has been a couple of years since I took a class at our community college. I took the community Gardening class several spring semesters. I took the class because it cost less than heating my greenhouse. I kept making the same "A" over and over again. But got tired of driving to town to water my seedlings. So now I just stay home and draw YOUR Social Security. I'll try to save some for you.

Good for you! I would love to do something like that too. But everything seems to be so technical and I am not. So not sure what to take if I went back. But that is something to be very proud of.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

Great! You are officially a role model. If you are going to be working it might as well be doing something you enjoy and are good at. And that isn't often minimum wage, no training stuff. Tell us what your classes will be and your goal. We're rooting for you!

HOW EXCITING!!!!
What kinda classes are you taking?

I'll be 54 next month and I get free tuition since my hubby found a full time job at the local university. I made a list of 49 classes that I'd like to take as a non-degree student...think I set my goals too high?...lol

I'm so happy for you! Hang onto your hat....new future here it comes!
