Well....I am finally going to get my business in order this year an that will be my New Years resolution!

We were very busy in 2010 and had more success than failures at our scheduled art shows. We also had more walk in business than we have had in five years so I will be talking to our banker about incorporating a credit card machine and maybe even a small "business loan" to expand the business for a successful year in 2011-

What is your New Years Resolution?

Not weird at all. I totally understand.

I just want to take it all in and appreciate it for what it is. I want to learn new things and actually experience living my life. I don't mean it in a selfish way. My husband is great, my kids are wonderful. My friends and family are there for me. I just want to be more present in my life.

Oh Teresa. I feel the same way. Like I'm checking days off the calendar. I want to LIVE not just exist.

I'm going to try to allow myself time for exercise. What the calories and try to stay in the moment. With so many demands on me I just can't keep things straight. Need to slow down some and enjoy the moment. Hugs, Brenda

I think mine will be to be healthier. I could stand to lose some weight, but I think the way to go about that is to eat better and be more active. I don't think dieting is the way to go, it never works. This way, I can trick my family into being healtier too, since I do the grocery shopping. Haha!

I made a resolution, many years ago, to not make any more New Year's Resolutions...so far, so good!
New Year's Resolutions have a way of just helping to set yourself up for failure, I do believe.

I vow to be more "present". Most days I can just go through the motions and get things done. Clean the house--check. Make dinner--check. Watch a movie with the kids--check.
There seems to be an emotion missing from my days. I'll have conversations with people without really knowing what is being said!! I'll just nod and say Uh huh.
I just want to take it all in and appreciate it for what it is. I want to learn new things and actually experience living my life. I don't mean it in a selfish way. My husband is great, my kids are wonderful. My friends and family are there for me. I just want to be more present in my life.

Well, that's mine! Good luck to all who make New Year's Resolutions!!
