So tonight the Barbara Walters Most Fascinating People of 2010 Special is on, but I definitely don't agree with some of her choices (Justin Bieber and the cast of Jersey Shore made the list; great to see what our society has come to). So I wanted to share who I would put on that list, and I was wondering who you would put on that list! So here goes (this is in no particular order):
1) Elizabeth Edwards: She recently died after battling a terrible cancer, and she stood by her family and estranged husband despite a cheating scandal and the fact that he had his best friend cover for him. Though I may not agree with some of her political ideals, she is a role model for all cancer patients.
2) Diane Sawyer: I know she became the anchor of World News last year, but it was so close to the beginning of 2010, I think she should be included! I have been watching her since I was 8 years old (considering I'm 14, that's more than half my life!), and she continues to be one of my favorite newsanchors, and I think she is a pioneer for women in the broadcasting/reporting field.
3) The School Pride Team: For those of you who have not seen the show, School Pride goes to a school and spends a week renovating the school, and in most cases, ensuring that the school will stay open. They have really brought to my attention the terrible condition our public education system is in, and they have inspired me.
So, who's on your list?

This is true Diane! All the farmgirl sisters and MaryJane are on my list! They inspire women to be the best they can be, and my farmgirl sisters inspire me to be my best!

Megan,
I agree, I don't like how our media and society idolizes celebrities. The most fascinating person on my list is MaryJane! She is so down to earth and has inspired thousands of women. All the Farmgirl Sisters are on that list also. I have been fortunate to get to know quite a few from this forum and they are all Fascinating!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
