Posted - Nov 23 2010 : 05:38:51 AM While in town yesterday I bought my ingredients for laundry soap... Washing soda and Borax. I make my own handcrafted soap and began mixing it all together and now instead of a creamy liquid laundry detergent I ended up with a huge amount of soapy water!
Farmgirls do any of you have a really good homemade laundry soap recipe? I think I better try this again-

Posted - Nov 23 2010 : 05:53:31 AM I make a powdered version where I just grate the soap into my washing soda, borax, and oxyclean mixture. For some reason I find grateing soap super relaxing! 1 c borax 1 c washing soda 1/2 c oxyclean 1 bar of grated soap
I no longer use those measurements because I found a combo that works better for our water but that's where I started.
