Posted - Nov 16 2010 : 11:15:24 AM Winds over 60 mph and rain, and thunder and lightning! Wow! Our power went out at a bit after midnight and we spent a cold night with us and the cats all huddled together. Power came back around 9:30 this morning. I'm thinking of either a woodstove or a generator or both ...Brrrrr!

Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 03:34:21 AM That may have been the same system that ripped through our state last night too!
Sounded like we got a thorough pounding for about 15 minutes
We have a tin roof, so when it pours, you can really hear it! The wind was pretty powerful too
Glad you and the critters are ok |

Posted - Nov 16 2010 : 1:45:08 PM Annika It was bad here too, thought it was going to take the windows out the wind blew so hard. My porch swing was tossed off the deck but no other damage. Kathy |

Posted - Nov 16 2010 : 11:18:39 AM Wow that was a nasty storm Annika! At least you had your fur babies to help keep you warm. I have to say, we have a woodstove and it is a nice feeling to know you can always be warm! I'd like a generator too, at least for the fridge and freezer. Glad your all warm and cozy again today!
