Posted - Nov 05 2010 : 06:37:17 AM I am measuring off about 2 acres that we do not have fenced in. I am going to the farm store to price out some square fencing after I get my measurements. I figured I could start buying a roll of fencing and a bundle of posts every month. Maybe by spring time I will have enough supplys to put the fence up. I am then going to move my cow Rose and her calf Petunia closer to the house. Rose will be giving us a new baby calf in the spring. I am also going to get started on planting some brocolli in my garden!! What's your farming goals today?

Posted - Nov 06 2010 : 03:24:00 AM We have an old log chinked barn that my husband's grandfather built. We have been slowly trying to preverse it by replacing the roof.
Our chicken flock has been growing too, so I'm saving for one of those portable electric fences and will help hubby rennovate another coop |

Posted - Nov 05 2010 : 08:13:27 AM We painted out buildings this summer! I have one more side to finish & I think the snow is going to beat me! Next year we are adding more ground for hay for the animals. Hoping to get it seeded yet this fall.
