Posted - Oct 18 2010 : 06:24:21 AM I tried to tell the boys that the long winter nap was not going to go well for them in that cradle. But I'm not about to argue with bears. The beautiful little quilt was made and sent to me by MJ girl, Karen,"electricdunce". She makes the most beautiful things.

Posted - Oct 19 2010 : 03:28:02 AM We hadn't seen Jack and Dave over the summer so I thought maybe they had their hibernating schedule a bit mixed up.
Definitely need to get them a bigger bed. Possibly you can find a little set of bunk beds for them. But then maybe they like the comfort of sharing.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce, Or a trouble is what you make it! And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts, But only--how did you take it?

Posted - Oct 18 2010 : 09:04:41 AM Well i guess Jack and Dave have really plumped up for winter, they need a bigger cradle and a bigger quilt. I love to hand quilt, so that is one reason I like to do the small things, cause I actually get them finished. I think I may have to learn to machine quilt someday because I have way too many big tops to finish. I love looking at all your goodies, Nancy Jo. That clock is definitely a dazzler. Cold here this morning, I better go drink more coffee so I can get something accomplished around here...I love fall until the trees are totally bare.

Posted - Oct 18 2010 : 07:14:42 AM I commented on your blog about your "drawers" and Jack and Dave AND Karen's darling handiwork! Remember last year you posted another little quilt she made you? It was a cat in a basket with her quilt...DARLING! She does beautiful work! Is it all by hand or does she machine sew and quilt it? I always love her color combinations...she has such style....like something out of a magazine. I took a quilting class after that and learned how. I've made several since and I'm still going! She and her quilts were my motivation. Of course I have nothing to show for it because I made them for the grandkids and kids but I have one to bind now from my class that is all mine!
