It's time for my FOTY (Farmgirl of the Year) "FALL FAVORITES" giveaway. I will put together a box of FALL themed goodies for the winner.

Oh my goodness ladies, CJ I can't begin to thank you for the lovely package. I felt like a little girl at Christmas. I was just giggling with joy as I kept pulling things out.
Ladies, I got a set of towels with apples on them, orange ones too, fall napkins, pumpkin salt and pepper shakers, fall plates and bowls, apple cider, tea, pumpking scenties, candy, journal, and recipe cards. Oh it is just the most wonderful fall package.
CJ thank you so much for making my day. YOu are a true farmgirl sister.

Thank you farmgirls for sharing . . . it's been fun to read and very enjoyable.
For me: I love the "smell" of Fall, the changes in the light, sunsets and the way the mountains look in the distance. Cooler temps, weeds stop growing . . .
. . . and the GLORIOUS, SPECTACULAR display of brilliant colors when the Fall colors come alive!!! Our Colorado Rocky Mountains are just breathless with color!!!

I love everything about Fall. The colors, the smells etc.
But currently I am Loving watching the migrating bluebirds filling the dogwood tree in my yard. They love he little berries and they must get fuel from them for their trip South. Somedays there are as many as 20 at a time, chirping away out there

My favorite fall things in much more than ten words:
sweaters, the beautiful fall colors in Indiana, fall festivals with apple cider, carving pumkins, the first apple crisp of the year, carmel apples, the abundance of the squirrels scampering about, huge flocks of birds stopping by harvested corn fields on their way south, going to see the Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie in Noblesville, IN and finally a chance to put a fire in the fireplace again...

I love to watch the trees turn from the green of summer to the oranges, yellows and reds of the fall, the watch them float thru the air. Seeing all the houses decorated with the pumpkins, mums, cornstalks and scarecrows. Apple picking and the scent of apple pie and pumpkin pie. Seeing the kids get excited over Halloween.
