This isn't "farm" related but...

Has anyone heard of a store called "A Bear is Born"? It's similar to Build-A-Bear and in malls (or at least used to be). My stepmom (who lives in CA) had one made for my daughter's first Christmas and we've finally come to the conclusion that it's gotten lost in our moves (yes, multiple changes of residential abodes) in the past 2 years. Anyway, I just found the Birth Certificate for it, so I knew the company name that way. If they still exist, please let me know. I really want to get another bear made for her from them, as close to the original as possible (if possible) and nothing from BAB looks remotely close to "Honey".

Thanks for any insight you all might have! :)

Nancy, I did a search and didn't come up with much (that's not the site I need), that's why I asked here just in case anyone knew if they had gone out of business or something. I almost always do a search before I ask a question since there is such an enormous amount of information on the 'net. Thanks though!

Tammy, thanks for the link. I'm not sure if that's the company or not, but I'll search their site and see if they have anything similar. :)

Try http://www.basicbrownbear.com/, my daugther toured their factory when we lived in CA.

Good luck on recreating the keepsake.

Sincerely,
Tammy

Katee,

We have "Build a Bear" and "Teddy Bear Junction" here in the Inland Northwest. I've never heard of the place you mentioned.

Good luck in your searching!

Karin
