Just got back, posted a picture. Beautiful day here today, warm and windy. The thrift store was pretty busy, the shelves were really full today, guess its that time of year when people are cleaning out again, seems to be a Spring and Fall thing to do.

You have such a gift when it comes to displaying things. Everything always looks so pretty. Love the bowl with the flowers.

I went thrifting this week and found some clothing items I had been looking forward ( I wrote about it on my blog)
Your right, the shelves seem stocked this time of year

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Kristin,
Wish we could see a picture. Where else could you get a nice tablecloth for two dollars? Gotta love a thrift store.

I just put the tablecloth on my very long dining room table and it fit! It is so pretty. And when I bought it the lady couldn't find a price tag and just charged me $2. When I unfolded it there was a tag and it was $5. It really is pretty. I can't wait to get some fall stuff to put on the table now. It sure does change the way a room looks.

I love the goodies found in the most unexpected of places!
The treasures I find in thrift stores and garage sales mean so much more to me than the ones purchased at expensive stores. I don't know what it is.. maybe it's the fact that these items have a history to them.. I'm not sure. I feel like heading out the door right now and going on a treasure hunt!

Very nice stuff, Nancy. I went to a little thrift store here today and everything in the store was half off! I found a cute pillow for $1 and a beautiful fall tablecloth with pumpkins all over it for $2 and it's cloth. And a cute table runner. And a bunch of t-shirts I am going to rip up to make yarn. I am ready to go. I love thrift stores. And you have got to be the thrift store queen with all those great finds.
