I got to meet my first Farm Girl Sister from MJF today. It's Sherrye! It was soooo nice to meet and talk and see her place and meet all her very-loved animals. I came home with lots of delicious farm-fresh eggs. Later, I made two quiches for dinner & it's the first time that my family gobbled up *both* quiches right away!!

Thank you, Sherry. I look forward to many more get-togethers! And thank you, MaryJane, for allowing us Farm Girls/Farm Girls at Heart to meet up virtually, too. I feel very blessed to know you all and have more sisters! xoxo

It is great to run into a farmgirl sister. While we were traveling across country One touched base with me who was on our way so we stopped to visit Vi (bag lady diva) in SD. It was so much fun. I hope in our other travels others will touch base and we can meet. So I know how special that is then for Kris to meet Mary Jane herself that must have been somthing. Lilly

How neat, Starletta! So happy to hear! There's a food preservation class happening here at the local kitchen shop that I'm kicking around taking, but it's so much more fun to take a class with a friend. So glad to hear you all had a good time!

I had so much fun meeting and working with our farmgirl sister - natesgirl - yesterday! We are taking the Master Food Preserver Program together and boy did our brains get full of the science of food preservation. Angie is a wealth of information on a variety of things from chickens, goats, gardens, truvia and so many other things and I learned a lot from her! Plus, she has the cutest Pink Panther apron that her daughter made! I look forward to meeting even more of my new sisters!

Wende, that would be so much fun --wish I could. BTW, your link's not showing up due to the "t" missing from heart. HTH! Maybe all the farmgirls in PNW could rally a get-together?

Jewel and Sherry - that is so neat and sounds like you had a great time together. I've been blessed to meet two FG sisters and am hoping that some of the PA/MD farmgirls can together soon. It is truly a blessing and Audrey is right in saying that it is like meeting an old friend.

It is wonderful to meet a fellow farmgirl. You get to know them from the forum here and then when you meet you already feel like you're old friends. I agree with Kris, it would be great to be able to travel around the country and meet everyone!

Toto, we're not in Kansas any more!

It sounds like ya'll had fun. I am so glad ya'll got to meet. I would love to meet you both too. Isn't it so neat that because of this forum we can meet people we probably never would have otherwise? I got to meet Karrieann and Ruth this past Sat. I had already met Kelly Wall. And we all met in Alpharetta and got to meet the Queen Bee herself there! It was amazing. We had such fun. I hope to meet so many more too. We should all just travel around the country and meet everyone. That would be fun.

I'm so glad ya'll got to meet. Sounds like a good freindship has begun.

Kris
