Posted - Aug 11 2010 : 12:03:57 PM Man I haven't been on here as much as I've wanted to due to running 3 online stores and my part time job. More fun in store tomorrow as the city I live in has decided thru an outside agency that I owe them $450 for a biz license (they're going back to 2007 when I 1st got a resale permit-didn't have my store till Oct of last year.) I'm hoping for a positive win-win-outcome. I renewed my Farmgirl membership (YAY!) Wanting to get the necklace but I'm waiting till I have more spare $$$. Money made from the biz has been going right back into it. Dads vision is still not good. Going to see his eye dr again the 18th & they're going to laser the lens. Hoping this does it. He hasn't been able to see good since Jan when they started the cataracts procedures. (he was seeing worse before) And I owe an apology to Marjean & my Sunshine farmgirls-I had signed up to participate in an exchange and forgot all about it. I am so sorry.....been having a lot on my mind, had to renew my learners permit as the drivers tests are fully booked till who knows when. Will be trying for an app in mid Sept.

Posted - Aug 15 2010 : 12:44:02 PM Hi Sherrie, I was thinking of you and how you always get back to me fast whenever I post about the co-op. You've got to check out my latest fun for our group. I'm so happy it went well for you with the city. I too am getting my city license this year. My DD is going for her learners permit in a few weeks. She is so nervous. I hope all goes well for your Dad's eye surgery. It can be a good thing but it can take time for the eye to heal. Did you see my thread about freebie sites? Check my blog for these tips

Posted - Aug 15 2010 : 09:03:34 AM Well thankfully the City waived half the fees. Still had to pay a tidy sum,but I'm now an official business! I'm really hoping this laser treatment works for Dad. He really wanted to get the house worked on this year, and his not being able to see detail has really put a wrench in the works. Not to mention he got a new camera.

Posted - Aug 13 2010 : 07:26:10 AM Welcome back! I haven't been on much lately either. Hay baling, stacking and moving it have been keeping everybody busy around here. Hope things go well for your dad. My mom had that surgery and it worked wonders for her vision. Good luck with your stores.
