Posted - Aug 04 2010 : 09:52:15 AM I was telling hubby about my menopause problems (yep, he really was talking to me about that) and said that my *ahem* 'shelf' (breasts) stay sore a lot of the time now. Then I said that I had talked to a mutual female friend of ours who has been dealing with meno for quite a while. She had told me that, yep, this is all normal, she deals with it in such and such a way.
So, then hubby asks me *wait for it!!* "Well, how sore do X's breasts get?". Remember, she is a good friend of ours...
I looked at hubs like he had two heads and the comprehending look on his face was something else. As usual, he spoke without thinking it through, just wanted to get a reference point to help me. He stammered a bit and then said he was trying to help, I knew what he meant. Yep, I knew what he meant but I have to admit, it was funny.
Whatta guy.
