I had heard there was a movie being filmed somewhere in Chickamauga. And I think his name is Robert Pattenson from the Twilight movies is in it. They've been talking about it on the radio.

So this morning I noticed a bunch of trucks and campers and 18 wheelers heading past the house going South to the cove. While we were out there trying yet again to get my cow in the trailor I mentioned all the trucks and they said they were filmong out here for the movie.

There is a very old farmhouse about 2 miles from us that I have loved ever since I saw it. The people that owned it were interviewed this morning on the bews. They said they were wanting to just bulldoze it down. But they were contacted by the movie people and they have totally renovated the house for this movie!

So after we left the cow pasture we turned right to go see where they were. We saw cars on the side of the road and a bunch of teen age girls all over with camers. Then saw the house. It looks really good. Lots of activity there. Then up the road a bit is a dairy and farmhouse. That's where all the campers were parked.

So this is very exciting! I'll have to get the name of the movie. It's got to be a good movie being in the country. And ya just can't get more country than this. And it's beautiful out here. I hope everyone gets to see it when it's ready so ya'll can see where I live.

What I have been reading about it says it will be out in April 2011. Not too far away.

He's supposed to be out here today and Sat. I think I'd like to go down and just watch what goes on. It should be really interesting. Maybe take the oldest granddaughter. Reese will not be in any of these scenes for the movie. I would have liked to see her. Then on Monday and Tuesday he will be in Chattanooga at the railroad place.

Too Cool! You'll have to tell us if you see Robert Pattinson around town. I'd probably be like a giddy schoolgirl myself...he reminds me a bit of James Dean. Sounds like a very good movie.

Yes it is based on the book. I found that out today also. My friend has read it and loved it. And with Reece Witherspoon it's got to be good.

It's something about a guy who hops a train and joins the circus in the 30's. Then becomes a vet. That's all I know so far. Maybe Alee knows more. I'll have to get the book now and read it.

There is still lots of traffic. Cars and trucks in groups of about 5 every time.

I just heard on the news (which is all about this right now) that Reese Witherspoon is in it too. I like her. So they will start filming this weekend. Also at the Tn. Valley Railroad in Chatt. Monday and Tuesday.

Anyway, I have never seen so much traffic out here. We have lived here 6 years now. At the end of this road, which is 5 miles from here, is Mt. Cove Farms. Then you go up a windy road to Lookout Mt.It's really beautiful here. They just got done fixing that road. This past winter it most of it was washed away. So just this past week it was finished. I bet this movie is the main reason.

This is so exciting. Even on the news they were amazed they could find this place out in the "middle of nowhere."

The name of the movie is Water For The Elephants. It's crazy down there. Lots of traffic all over the road. And lots of old cars being brought down there. So I think it must be a movie from the 40's or 50's. I can't wait to see it now.
