Here are some of my favorite things this summer. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do. (My DH took these pix.)




A tiny brown bird makes its nest on the beams of our honeysuckle trellis each year.




This is the first year in the seven years we lived at this place that more than one hydrangea has bloomed. I think they are gorgeous!



We planted scarlet runner beans to attract more hummingbirds. In the meantime, we have fallen in love with their beautiful orange blossoms. This won't be the last time we plant these!

Just beautiful!!!! Your honey takes wonderful photos Judy :) I love that the birds make their home in your honeysuckle every year, very sweet!

I'm glad you enjoyed them. Hubby LOVES taking pictures of nature, and he loved it that you liked them. What are cardinal flowers? They sound pretty.

Judy, what beautiful pictures. I have planted the bean flowers. They are pretty. This year I planted cardinal flowers. They are starting to bloom now.
