Today they were being "heralded" here! Almost one imillion people came to Amsterdam and cheered for them etc. They had a meeting with the Queen, 2 were given a special award, and for the rest: THEY ARE OUR HEROES!!!!!

What a game! Both teams played so well and had so many good ideas. I bet we'll see both of them again in 2014. Congrats on the finals, Marian!!!

I have been consoling my friend from Germany about their loss. Sorry to hear the Netherlands didn't win either. At least your team made it to the finals! That is quite an exciting accomplishment in itself and something to be very proud of!

We have been watching the World Cup this year and my husband picked the Netherlands for his team - I had picked Ghana but shifted to the Netherlands when they were eliminated:) Hope they play well!!
