I opened a package from my wonderful thrifty garage saling mother. 4 plates, two cups, a teapot, all in spatter blue, plus a tiny little two cupper in bright turquoise! LOVE THEM. I am planning to make a cup of verge tea next time we do a road trip. :) who else collects enamelware?

I also collect milk glass, doorknobs, fox hunting stuff, aprons, cast iron, wrought iron, hammered aluminum, vintage kitchen stuff...er that might be all.

Oh Mr Darcy!

I found a set of brown spatter with spoons even, but it was outside my budget. It would have looked so cute in my brown kitchen!

I love enamelware. I have couple of cups (red and blue), pot (green), coffeepot (blue), soup bowls, basin (white). I think thats it but I have lots housewares items (utensils, mugs, glasses, plates, coffeepots/teapots...way way too many.)

I love enamelware, too. Do not collect it, though. Right now the only thing I collect are toys (3 boys) and dust...lol.

Tn.Earthmama, Good to see another TN Farmgirl here!

I love enamelware, and have some unique peices. I have some invalid feeders, vases, cups bowls, platters, plates, some cool decorated pieces, tons. And I'm always looking for more. When I used my old plates at picnics people always comment. Good day, Carol

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!
Don't out smart your common sense!!

Sarah, that sounds wonderful!!!! I love enamelware, but don't collect it.....yet. LOL. I love old kitchen stuff, we have lots of things from my hubby's grandmother, aprons, old cookbooks etc. I love reading the how to be a good housewife in the old cookbooks. a lot of the diet advice, healthy eating stuff is things that are touted now as new discoveries. LOL.

enjoy your enamelware. Phyllis
