Posted - Jun 22 2010 : 07:11:22 AM ...world after all. Sorry! I know that sounds cheesy and trite but I'm finding here on the MJ FG connection that it is true. Several weeks ago, I received an email from a friend here in PA that I've known for a few years through church. It was a nice story so I looked through the other email addresses she had forwarded it to, so that I wouldn't repeat to a lot of our mutual friends. One name seemed familiar to me but I knew it wasn't anyone local. So, I replyed to my friend, Vanessa, and asked if the address was for someone she knew when she lived in SD where she is originally from. I explained that the name was very familiar, I told her about the FG connection and a recipe swap I was in and that I sent/received recipes from a FG in SD with the same name. "YES!", she replied "Betty jo has been one of my best friends for 30 years! and better yet.....she's coming to PA for a visit in the middle of June. Would you like to meet her " ... I got to meet Betty jo the evening before she was heading home to SD. Here is a picture of that meeting. (l to r) Betty jo, our mutual friend Vanessa (the connecting thread in the center) and myself.
We spent more than an hour talking about MJ and the FG Connection, what it means to us and the bond we feel with so many of you ladies, the many connections that we have in common here and why we love it and you. I'm very glad to have met her and know that I'll bump into her often here. I'm still amazed at what a truly small world it is after all.![](icons/icon_smile_wink.gif)
