My boys ages 6 and 8 want to have a cowboy themed birthday party this year.
Any ideas on decorating ideas, food or games?
Thanks!
Nellie Sue

Posted - Jun 11 2010 : 8:13:25 PM I was having a western/tex mex luncheon awhile back so here are ideas. Food: chili, corn bread, cowboy cookies. Decorations: bandannas (we used them for napkins), place holder sheriff badges, cowboy hats...

Posted - Jun 11 2010 : 12:51:28 PM Hi Nellie! I hope all my ideas help! For decorations, you could tie a bunch of bandanas together to string across the doorway or as a banner. For food, if you wanted to do just regular ol' chips, pretzels, etc., you could put them in a cowboy hat. You could have square dance music playing in the background. Also, when I think of cowboys, I think of cows, so you could make burgers. You could also maybe see if a party store sells cowboy hat pinatas. Hope this helps! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae
