Saturday I'm driving my girls up to the Nicolet National Forest for church camp. We'll be traveling from Chicago via I94 through Milwaukee, onto Hwy 43 through Sheboygan up into Green Bay then up 41 near Gillette.

On the way up we won't have much time to "play". I have to get my girls there. Mom & I are spending the night at a friends house then heading home Sunday. We'd love some suggestions on a nice diner (love those places!) to eat lunch or some other place that is a "must see"!

Thursday of next week we'll be heading back and I'm looking for an inexpensive hotel up near Green Bay. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Again, we'll be looking for dining suggestions and things to do/see.

Thanks for they help! I surely appreciate it!

Deb, I don't know much about the Green Bay area, but if you have time to dine in the Milwaukee/West Allis area, then a good diner would either be Katie's Diner or Johnny V's. Just a good restaurant would be Water Street Brewery. Hope this helps!
God's Blessings,
