Posted - May 23 2010 : 10:32:56 AM It's been raining here for the past few days (much, much needed) and it just smells wonderful here. I just love that fresh earthy, clean tree and grass smell!

Posted - May 23 2010 : 7:29:23 PM I love the smell of the wet earth after a good rain--and the way the sun comes out and the birds start singing--it reminds me of Eden. Cindy

Posted - May 23 2010 : 7:24:09 PM AnneMarie: I agree. The smell of rain and the smell of grass after it rains is wonderful. I love the sound of a hard rain. Marly

Posted - May 23 2010 : 6:09:58 PM Rain---what a basic nurturing primal scent huh?
I love the smell of rain BEFORE it arrives--- that earthy electrical scent you can smell miles away just knowing that a big old storm is headed your way.
I actually have a sound track that I listen too once in a while just rain and thunderstorms-it is very soothing!

Posted - May 23 2010 : 1:43:57 PM I love the smell of rain . . the cleanness and freshness. I would LOVE to have that some our way . . even if I did just wash my car after 5 months of winter mud.
BUT . . we are in the clutches of UGLY, DIRTY, BLINDING wind right now!!! One does NOT want to be outside. And it is NOT predicted that this wind will blow any moisture bearing clouds into our area.
I will be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO grateful when the springs winds are over!!! Ahhhhh . . . I can imagine the smell of rain!! CJ
