I was reading in the book about how MaryJane uses a camera case instead of a purse and was curious if anyone else was doing that (and WHAT the brand name and type of case it was as I have not been able to find one that has so many compartments).

i did use a camera bag for a purse a hand-full of years ago .. and today .. there are some really wonderful purses with lots of pockets .. but not necessarily for a camera. i have a great 'back-pack' right now that has just the right amount of pockets and in all the righ places ... but i also love 'fun' purses' that might not be 'big enough' .. but will often carry one in the car to switch some 'necessities' to and the 'big one' stays in the car with all the other stuff a woman just can't seem to travel without!

i also love a great camera VEST with tons of little pockets!

I wish I could afford this one! But if I could I probably wouldn't buy this....

Unfortunately, MJ only mentions it briefly in her book. She did not go into details or give a picture. Maybe in the workbook for that section she will go into more detail.

I have spent a fortune trying to find the "right" purse. I would love to try a camera bag for a purse. Please sent us information that could help us on our great find.

Thanks,

Linda H.

I haven't carried a real purse for 4 years. I carry a small black diaper bag and guess I will till my yougest is out of diapers. I think a camera bag sounds like a good thing for me to look at after the diaper bag

I think it's a great idea - for the moment, however, I use a tote bag - I'm in that place where I'm often carrying snacks, a diaper or two, a camera, water bottle..... and I need the space.

I've seen some great camera bags that would make really nice purses at a camera store in Salt Lake City, but, alas, I didn't pay attention to the brand names or anything. I think having one made of that cordura nylon would be so nice, too. Easy to wipe clean and pretty waterproof. It would stay looking nice for a long time, also.

XOXO, Libbie
