I got this clock a few months ago. I just love it but we had to put it in the entry way. It chimes every 15 minutes, a real pretty chime, but its better when not in the same room as you are in. I still think its the doorbell the phone the alarm clock, the oven, the microwave the dryer. But the girls said it sounds like gentle church bells, so I'll go with that.
