I just had a lovely "lunch on the go" with TejasFarmgirl! She's the first farmgirl I've met, and it was great to be able to talk to another "professional" woman about farming, ditching the city, living well and all that good stuff! I can't wait to do lunch again! Big howdy to you, Dawnn!

Go Farmgirls!

It seems the sunflower on the antenna is becoming our un-official sign of a FarmGirl. I can just see it, 2 cars sitting in a reststop in the middle of no where, both with a sunflower. One ladies walks up to the other and says, "I see your sunflower, there on your antenna, does it have some special meaning?" Then all of a sudden the ladies break out into the secret Farmgirl handshake. Busy making their wild gyrations, they don't notice the crowd that has gathered around them. One man reaches for his cell phone ready to dial 911, thinking they have gone into epileptic fits.

Aunt Jenny, how fun! What are you making? Let us know all about it! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

KAy, on another thread, forget which one, several of the gals talked about a sign like the Red Hat Society has, that would identify all of us to one another in a crowd. The sunflower was the symbol most appealing to everyone. That is why it was mentioned above.

Peace

Kay...I have one on mine. I don't care that I get teased about it all the time.

Lacy -- how fun for you! I can't wait to get to meet some of my Farmgirl Friends in person some day. Are we supposed to have sunflowers on our antenna to show we're Farmgirls?

How exciting, I can't wait to meet another FarmGirl myself. Even going down the freeway, I find myself looking for a sunflower on an antenna.
