Posted - May 01 2010 : 5:21:29 PM I just signed my self up for 18 hours of overtime next week! Yipes! I am probably going to be a bit burnt out by the end of the week but on the other hand the extra pay will realy help us get caught up after the disaster of having our car towed.

Posted - May 04 2010 : 10:07:44 AM Yes, the crazy days do seem to go faster. Somedays I like it to be a super crazy busy where I don't even have a second between calls, and somedays I like it to be slow and lazy. I am hoping the first part of this week is crazy busy and the latter part is slow and lazy. ;)

Posted - May 04 2010 : 06:40:42 AM Aww, thanks Amy Grace!
Well I got my first day of my crazy week done. 10 hours and 20 minutes on the phone. Phew! But actually it wasn't too bad. I wasn't even looking at the clock hoping for the end of the day. So here in a little while I am going to head out to day two. It's wierd that at the end of the buisness day today I will have worked half of my normal work week hours!

Posted - May 01 2010 : 7:51:52 PM Amy Grace, I am working for a bank answering banker questions. So I have desk in a big operations center and if a banker doesn't know how to do a proceedure I am who they call. It's a really fun job because I get to help people every day on every single call (I take about 100 to 110 calls a day). They take really good care of us and we have great supervisors.

Posted - May 01 2010 : 6:11:07 PM Well Lisa, we will have to be support for each other. Either next week is going to be SUPER busy or it is going to feel like a normal week because they have padded the schedule with enough over time. I hope it is normal/slow! LOL
If anyone needs work, move to Billings and I will give you a good word at my place of business! They have been sending out emails requesting that we spread the word! LOL They are hiring about 10-15 people each month through the end of the year. I believe our location in Fargo ND is also hiring.

Posted - May 01 2010 : 5:37:50 PM Alee I am facing a similar week. I do appraisals & the tax credit just ended, so there are tons of apps being processed. I feel like I need to take this work while it is there, but it is killing me. My butt is spreading wider by the day, & I can't get my garden in. But I am not complaining; I know there are many with no work. I am really trying to get psyched up for next week when I know my work days will be 12-14 hrs +. But the extra paycheck will be worth it, right? |
