Posted - Apr 25 2010 : 9:19:18 PM All I did was go work my horse out at the barn and by the time I got home I was exhausted and camped out on the couch all day. I wish this stupid cough/cold thing would go away. I am sick of it already! It was a beautiful day out and I didn't even go play in the garden!!
How about you ladies? Anyone else take the day off from everything?

Posted - Apr 26 2010 : 09:33:46 AM I didn't do much yesterday. I went to church and took my son into town to get supplies for the week. he is working out of town this week. I don't do anything like chores, except feeding the animals and the family. No washer, dryer, vaccum, ect. I try to keep the Sabbath.
It's all good!

Posted - Apr 26 2010 : 07:50:40 AM Alee - I think you probably deserve a day off considering how much you get done the rest of the time, just reading your to-do lists makes me tired:) Don't let yourself feel guilty, we need quiet time as much as we need to get things done1! Amy Grace

Posted - Apr 26 2010 : 07:44:23 AM Alee, I think this pollen is really getting to me bad. I feel like I have bronchitis now. Real deep cough. And I have no energy. I went to bed the other night at 8. And yesterday, Sunday, I took a nap and woke up at almost 8 and felt horrible. I went back to bed after 11. I woke up about 7:30 this morning and feel a little better. I cleaned the kitchen and planted 2 azaleas. Now I feel like going back to bed.
I hope you feel better soon. This is not fun at all.
Kris

Posted - Apr 26 2010 : 06:17:57 AM Alee,
I hear ya, my February and March was like that, with lingering respiratory illness. It's frustrating when you are used to being active and hit by that stuff. Take it easy, and I hope you feel much better soon!

Posted - Apr 26 2010 : 04:10:09 AM Alee, Sorry to hear you are struggling with a lingering cold and cough. I had that for about a month, and just now feel like it might have left me finally. It is best to rest when you need to, so you don't have a relapse. But, each day you are closer to being rid of it. I pretty much took the day off, and enjoyed my birthday just messing around doing what I wanted to. My hubby was home working on a new pic nic table for me, and just enjoyed myself doing things I wanted to but dont usually have time for. I did not make it to church, just enjoyed a slow morning talking to my husband. A good day, Sheri Sheri
