My mom informed me last night that today (19th) was to be my day off, and she was taking me out for a special birthday surprise all day. So the boys are excited because they have no school (hee hee!!) and I'm excited because I get a day to just hang out. Although...she didn't say where we are going, so that's a big part of the excitement too! My birthday is actually tomorrow...its fun to celebrate a day early. I'll post later tonight and let you know what the big surprise day was....maybe we will go antiquing or thrifting or....who knows! I love surprises!!!!

It was a great day today. As I was ready to pull out of the driveway, my mom said "We can't leave yet, one of the riders isn't with us." What I didn't know what my grandma had taken the day off of work, too, and was coming along with us! The day ended up being chatting at a coffee shop, lots of thrift store shopping, and a meal at my favorite small town cafe (with the best pie ever!). So a great day shared with two lovely ladies. It was a nice surprise :)
