Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 02:43:43 AM I'm writing here, because I just can't at this time post on all the differet post. Can only sit here for a short time. Boy oh Boy, it's a good thing that no one told be the pain and disconfort that comes with the recovery. For one, I never take pain medicine, would just deal with it. NO WAY, now I know when I need to take another one. First of all, they just couldn't find an IV spot. My veins kept blowing. So my arms are just black. Then when I woke up in recovery and moved to my room I guess I was alittle out of it. Think I had Tom thinking I was going to be that way forever. I do want to thank everyone for their prayers, I didn't have that terrible headache that I was so concerned about. I cherish all the lovely cards and gifts. And Carol, thank you for your visits. Just meeting in person is so awesome. She had all the gifts and cards fixed so pretty in a beautiful basket. I've dedicated that basket to all my cards I receive. Carol came on Tues. And I knew at once it was her. I was still in gown. Then she surprised me Wed. with a visit brought me a vase of lilac's. Boy did that cheer up my room. Still in gown. Never did get to show off my cute new jammies. But I also wanted to tell you that once I woke up there has been NO pain in my right leg. Yeepee! We'll have to wait and see it if helps any in the back. But the leg pain kept me from doing alot of things.I'm not too good at letting others do for me. But when just trying to sit down and get in and out of the bed is such a chore. I know that I need to except the help graciously. There are times I'm trying to do for myself and just can't get it done, I'll just sit back and cry. But that soon passes and I just get on with what needs to be done. Sleep alot! Which is another (so not me) thing. Well I've set here long enough, but will check back soon. Love you girls and thank you for all your prayers and support.

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 4:12:53 PM Thank you all for all the prayers and support. I wouldn't have made it this far so calmly if I had not had you all there to move me through it. Of course I want it to be all over with NOW! But I put it in the Lord's hands and so far he's made some pretty good choices. So I'll just take one day at a time and see where he leads me. Love ya all, HUGS~~~~~Brenda

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 10:59:45 AM Brenda, I am so glad you are doing so well. You just need to sleep and let others take care of you for awhile now til you get better. That's the best part of recovery. You are the Queen so let people do for you. Have some fun. Get well quick.

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 06:19:08 AM I hope all goes well for your recovery. My middle daughter had back surgey a few years ago. She was slow for about a week or two, then things just raced forward on her movement and all. She took herself off the pain pills after about 10 days, she said it wasn't so bad then. Here's hopin your recovery goes as well!
