Check out the pictures of my little farmboys being sweet and cuddly with the chicks they got at Tractor Supply (after the ones in the incubator didn't hatch).

AND....

I wish I could post the video of my son taking a dust bath like his favorite Mr. Brownie Ba-gawk...I almost died laughing...instead you'll just have to enjoy the picture of the aftermath...and believe me when I tell you he was SO much dirtier than the picture shows!!

Hahahaha! Believe me I caught ten kinds of heck for letting Hallie "go mudding" too. The only ones who didn't say a thing were my immeadite family. They laughed right along with us. My mamaw lined her car seat with newspaper after the picnic and we scooted home and she went straight to the tub. Ahh kids will be kids, dirt and all.

Oh my gosh Melanie! That is hilarious! Sounds like something my boys would do. I remember people coming to our old house in the summer(we lived right on main street) and they would walk into the back yard (because that's where we always were) and they'd often be met with two little boys, running around in their diapers, who had just got down jumping around in mud puddles. One friend told me later she thought I was a total whackjob because I "let the boys get so dirty". Well, they haven't died yet...I think they're going to be fine!

Ahhh! and funny too! Such a good way to start the morning. Makes me rememeber the time my youngest daughter made snow angels in a mudhole at the family picnic. You sure have some cute boys Amy!

Amy, thanks for sharing the pix. It makes me miss my now-grown-up nephews, especially the mischievous smiles.

That is too sweet and so funny! I just love dirty farm kids. They are so darn cute. Somewhere on someone's blog was a little story about how she knew her kids had a great day playing by the dirt ring in the bathtub! I guess yours had a great big one last night.
