Hi guys Happy Thanksgiving and many blessings to all! I'm sneaking
a few minutes from the hubbub to post this recipe someone asked me for a while back. The computer crashed and I have been out of commission for a bit so here goes...better late than never!

PUMPKIN PECAN PIE

Pie dough for single 9" crust
Preheat oven to 425
3/4 c Pumpkin puree
2T. lt. brown sugar
1 lg. egg beaten
2 T. sour cream
1/2 tsp @ cinnamon, nutmeg
Mix all pumpkin ingredients, set aside.

Line pan with dough, crimp edges and chill.

3/4c lt. corn sytrup
1/2 c lt.br sugar
3 lg eggs, beaten
3 T butter, melted and cooled
2 t.vanilla
1 1/2 t. lemon juice
1/4 t salt
1 1/3c.pecan halves
Mix all pecan ingredients, set aside.

Fill chilled pie crust with pumpkin mixture , then spoon pecan mixture over that. Bake in upper third of preheated oven at 425 for 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 and bake 30 minutes more.
Serve room temp or warm slightly. Top with fresh whipped cream. Enjoy!

with a happy heart
