HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to everyone (I know I'm a day late)

We had "Tea at Three" at my house with Irish Breakfast Tea made in my Scottish Thistle teapot that I bought in Edinburgh. Made Irish Apple Cake, a recipe from a traditional Irish cookbook . . . used my Irish cottage placemats (like EVERYONE uses in those countries), china, etc. Put on some Celtic Soundscapes music . . .very nice.

THEN, we had our traditional corned beef and cabbage with carrots and potatoes supper with good Irish ale. For this meal I put on the Irish dancing music!! Yup . . .it was fun!

We are Scottish-Irish through and through. Have had the privilege of traveling in both countries (and Wales and England) on three different occasions. I have my passport ready and could pack in a flash if I could go again.

HOPE YOU HAVE A "JIGGY" DAY!!!

I have a wee bit of the Irish in me also, my Mamas side, and I wish you all a wonderful green day. I am really getting hungry smelling my cornbeef simmering away, lol.

Thanks Channah, you too! I am half Irish. I took my teacher test today and my passcode to get into the test was LUCK831. The lady who administered the test said Luck was on my side today. I find out in 2 weeks if luck was on my side!

It's all good!
