Posted - Mar 15 2010 : 06:04:56 AM So, so pretty, Jeannie! I like that St. Francis was in the pic, as well. She/he probably does have some kits somewhere nearby. We had a grey fox a few years back, and the little ones would watch Justin and I from the lower part of the yard until their mom "called" them away...You are a lucky lady to see nature at it's best.

Posted - Mar 15 2010 : 05:53:10 AM Great picture! I love the way you got St. Francis in the shot too. Did you ever read the children's book Rabbit Hill by Robert Lawson? Don't want to give away too much, but it involves St. Francis and feeding the animals. And there's a fox in it too. |

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 8:33:57 PM Oh Shirley Jean!! He/she knows you are its friend & I bet it is a girl, probably feeding its kids somewhere. We live in the country & I have never seen one that close. Of course 5 dogs may play into the equation. & I guess I should be glad since we have 18 chickens. But how absolutely cool for you! |
