Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 11:16:32 AM I will walk the dogs after dinner, and start working more in the garden....once the mud starts drying up. It also means less time the television is on. My dh and ds watch a lot of t.v., and I'll be glad to see it turned off. More daylight also means I won't be coming home from work in the dark. I'm looking forward to it.

Posted - Mar 16 2010 : 9:22:47 PM I was really enjoying the light in the early morning, my favorite time of day. I love watching dawn break, sipping my coffee and just enjoying that quiet slice of the day. BUT....I'm tickled about the light in the evening also, when I get home from work about 6:45, I can let my dog out to run for a good while before it gets dark, and he loves it too!! When it warms up and stays light even longer, I'll be working in the yard till dark and loving every moment of it!!

Posted - Mar 15 2010 : 04:19:35 AM Well, We will work our urban farm more, plant more, dig more and hopefully harvest more. Finish putting up another high tunnel. And best of all enjoy our chickens even more. They are happy with the longer days too. With longer day's, comes warmer weather eventually, and glorious Spring. Not to mention, I can read the farmgirl connection because the room our computer is in has been too cold to sit and read.![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif) Sheri

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 8:23:57 PM My life will not change at all except for a few days I will yawn a little later than before the change. My schudule is so off anyway that it doesn't seem to make a difference. I guess the good thing is, if I'm out at night it will be lighter longer for the drive home.

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 7:44:32 PM Didn't you all know that weeds aren't weeds, they are fancy chicken salad, at least thats what mine think it is, lol. And with all my rain that I love, we also have weeds coming up where they have not been in years, thank God for the Hula hoe.

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 5:22:41 PM Linda, do you do much weeding? Ha, I call what I do gardening, but I mostly weed also. I like to think of it as gathering fresh food for the chickens.

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 11:40:17 AM I will do the things that I should have done during the hour that we LOST in the mornings. I never could figure out how they think you are saving daylight. Yes, I know comming home from work and still having some daylight to do things are great. To me it is a hassel. I have to rearrange my chicken chores/cook supper/do dishes schedule.
Enjoy your hour!!
