Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend! Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour Saturday night. I love the longer days of Spring and Summer!!!

I found it interesting that all of the US goes by Daylight Savings Time except the states of Arizona and Hawaii...

We only used the clock for appointments as well. I even have a clock that only has days of the week which my husband uses more then any clock in the house. Being retired is great. Lilly

We go by Chicken time here too Anna. The only time we use the clock is to get to a Dr appt on time. Oh, and to watch my cooking shows.

We think it's kind of silly since we wake up when it's light and go to sleep when it's dark anyway.

The "official" time really doesn't matter when you are on chicken time!

I have been naturally waking up at 4 a.m. even since the last switchover in the Fall. Dones't mean I GET UP at that time, just wake up. It was kind of annoying, especially when I want to sleep and can hear the chickens. This morning they were on the quiet side. Aaaaahh

So this a.m. when the alarm went off, getting out of bed wasn't quite the struggle but sleeping in would havebeen nice though

I agree Betty! My lilacs have started too!!

I wonder why we do DST if all the states aren't on board? Strange.

I don't need DST to remind me of Spring. My daffodils are blooming and that's what counts.

I love the daylight, however, I really hate lossing the hour. I am enjoying the ability to sleep in lately. I know it won't be forever so I am enjoying it as long as I can!

It's all good!

I live in Arizona and we don't change time which I REALLY like!

I do have a problem with it now though since I work at home doing Medical Transcription and the clinics that I transcribe for are in Minnesota and New Hampshire. Daylight savings time makes my work deadlines an hour earlier now! :(

I didn't turn the clock next to my bed back, I did all the others. Even tho I knew it was 1 hour ahead I still would get up 8am and think I slept in. Knowing it was 7 am made me feel like I had time to play on the computer. I am thinking of turning that clock ahead 1 hour. Strange but true.
Yeah!!! Springtime is the best!

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Oh I am so glad spring is finally getting here. We have had such a long dreary winter. I am a sunshine and flowers girl, I love springtime. We have had a few nice days last week, but yesterday and today are dreary again. Hurry springtime. I will gladly change my clock, more time in the evening.

I didn't think Indiana did it, either. I do not like it. I think we need to leave nature alone and just go with animal time. It just messes everyone up and kids seem to get all out of whack and get sick. But that's just me. Sorry to go on about it.

It will be nice to have daylight longer to be able to do more outside in the evening. This has been a dark winter.
