Posted - Jan 11 2007 : 09:00:53 AM Lacy! Very nice indeed! Looks like you got the wedding you were dreaming about! That dress looked great! And now more wonderful news! Congratulations! As for your move, I have a cousin that lives just outside of Tehachapi and he can't say enough about it. He used to live in the "canyons" of LA and had to escape! He has found his nirvana, hope you and your expanding family do too! May blessings be bountiful!

Posted - Jan 09 2007 : 3:07:03 PM Hi Lacy, good to hear from you again. I met you at MJ's farm in July. I heard you did indeed 'get busy' and are going to have the next generation farmbabe. Congrats. MB

Posted - Jan 09 2007 : 12:48:02 PM I'm still here... still lurking, just not really posting lately.
As for what I've been up to, well, it's funny to post this under THIS topic, but I've got a bun in the oven! Due at the end of July..... and we're moving to a little mountain town in California in a couple of months. There's an update on my blog (below) if you're really interested!
As for Dawnn, she's still around as far as I know! I had lunch with her in October (i think?) and she was doing great on her new little farm, and had just bought a couple of nubian goats at the state fair...

Posted - May 31 2006 : 3:57:43 PM Yeah, you just have to give your name and edress and a password. It's pretty painless. And, Lacy, the photos are LOVELY! It looks like a great time was had by all! I am new here to MaryJanesFarm, but I'll be at the Farm Fair and look forward to meeting you and lots of other Farm Girls in person! Blessings on your marriage! Judy

Posted - Apr 26 2006 : 08:18:52 AM Awwwwww--- I've been completely out of touch for almost two weeks and this is such a special homecoming!!!!
The wedding was WONDERFUL, a TOTAL farmgirl dream come true... I'll definately post pics as soon as they come! My husband and my families were in town all week and it was just one big party from Wednesday till the big shebang Saturday night! Everyone chipped in and put some sweat into the makings, and it was amazing that night to see the picture in my mind all up and in lights!! I wore a tea-lenghth gown and cowboy boots, and Wes wore a tan linen suit and boots... everyone that came really got into the theme and TOTALLY cowboy'ed out! The array of boots was fantastic! It was just so GREAT to have our far flung families all together to celebrate with us...
We went to Port Aransas (a little island off Corpus Christi) for our mini-honeymoon. The big one is at the end of June to Jackson Hole, WY and MARYJANE'S FARM FAIR!!!!! But this little one was GREAT. The island was empty, so we just got to relax, see the national seashore on Padre Island, eat a LOT of seafood, and just have a great recovery from planning!
Anyway, I just can't WAIT to show everyone pictures!
Thanks again, Lacy
