LOL- Yes, I am hoping to compete but I have to qualify locally and regionally first! I am really excited and have been working with Tala quite a bit. She is such a good girl, Lisa! So willing to do everything I ask of her!

Lisa, that's so funny to think that something so simple and silly causes someone to think of me! That makes me smile! I decided to plant so many tomatoes because I'm trying to get my sons and their families off the high-fructose corn syrup and so I have to make enough spaghetti sauce and ketchup in order to supply them, my daughter and myself! But if you need some, you come right on over and I'll load you up!

Oh Lisa, so glad to hear from you!! My denim butt apron is hanging in my kitchen & I think of you every time I see it! I guess I know where to go if I need any tomatoes!

I'm so sorry I haven't been on here much and caused such todo! When I do get on, I just read what you all are up to and then I'm off doing something else!!! Seems I don't have enough hours in the day to do EVERYTHING I want (go figure) and that's even when I don't sleep (you know...the whole menopause/insomnia thing)!
All is well...very well. That good-for-nothing I divorced came up here to do me in last October and one of our city officers (didn't know he had it in him) chased him down, tackled him and hauled him off to jail where he sat for 55 days. After sentencing and a stern warning from the judge, I believe he finally decided it was time to let go and moved on and is now in Arizona. Although, he never contacted his probation officer and an arrest warrant will be issuing for him soon. That should ensure he stays out of Idaho! If he comes back and gets arrested, the judge will be putting him away for 2 yrs and I'm pretty sure he won't want that! So, I have finally had peace for the past 3 months and I'm just now beginning to relax and feel safe and it's absolutely wonderful! You've never seen a happier, more content farmgirl in your life!
Yep, I am planning my gardens...there won't be any grass left in the front yard by the time I'm done planting this year. I started 144 tomato plants in the kitchen and will be starting more as soon as I make room! I built the beds out front last fall; now I just have to cover the grass in the walkways! I have been painting and remodeling my kitchen and building a new bathroom and tearing down the old pantry (an addition) and preparing the old bathroom to be the new pantry and learned to run plumbing myself. So, I've been a very busy girl this winter. As soon as it gets warm enough to dig up and expose the sewer line, I'll be doing that and running the new drain lines from my new bathroom and hooking into the sewer...if I can run plumbing, I can run drain lines! Woohoo! Plowin' thru!

I saw her on make a post on FB the other day.....she's not on there too often. I think she's ok and probably busy planning her garden for this spring! :)
