Posted - Feb 20 2010 : 1:59:32 PM I just attended Susan Branch's Farmstand Antique Show. She is an author (who lives near me) of cookbooks and craft books, etc. Anyway, it was like a small scale farm fair, and I had the best time! Went with Rhonda, my best friend and got all kinds of goodies! I got stencils, and a tablecloth embroidery kit, scrapbooking pictures, tea balls, a hand mixer, and Rhonda got me a signed copy of Girlfriends Forever. (Susan was on hand for signing) Then I had artichoke bisque, and tea. It was so cool, I am totally going to have my own farm fair!

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 9:50:01 PM I have picked blueberries at that patch. They are the best blueberries I've ever tasted. Where is classic organic? Oh and you should tour those log cabins sometime, right before Gaviota Pass. On my side of the pass. They are something to behold once you get inside!

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 7:37:00 PM Shari,
Actually, Port Hueneme. Ashley and I enjoy heading north on some weekends just to get away. We normally go to about Arroyo Grande and then turn around and head back. We stop at Solvang and have lunch and then head home. So much fun when we do that. We normally stop at the blueberry patch and pick berries, and stop at Classic Organic and buy veggies. Can't wait to make another trip soon.
Have a good day!
