Posted - Feb 20 2010 : 07:34:14 AM Hey girls!
Can you believe it is only 1 month from today until Spring officially begins!!!
The sun is out here in Kentucky...the temperature was in the low 50's yesterday and today promises the same...I am seeing some little insects flying...birds are out eating and chirping...my Easter flowers are peeping above the ground and the sky is a beautiful blue...
My wonderful hubby and I are off to buy some little pigs today...to add to our barnyard family...
What more could a girl ask for...
Hope you all have a blessed and wonderful weekend...
Smiles...
Judy

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 07:39:16 AM Right now we are getting alot of rain, but they say it will soon freeze and then snow. My daughter is holding her breath, she's a teacher and does NOT want anymore snow days to make up. So we can handle the rain just fine.

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 07:31:17 AM Snow is falling today but it's the big wet flakes that so often fall as spring is coming- It means lots of spring mud which isn't the happiest prospect- but I'll take mud over frozen any day!

Posted - Feb 21 2010 : 07:27:08 AM I am thinking of planting next week. This week is to busy. The word at the co-op is that we probably won't get another frost here in MS so it's safe. I want to grow tomatos, peppers, corn, sunflowers, gords, and some herbs like basil and lemon grass.
It's all good! |

Posted - Feb 20 2010 : 08:24:32 AM Woo-hoo, spring at last. I know it happens every year, but every year it's like a little miracle that we come back out of winter. True, winter hasn't been too bad this year in our area but the last two....don't even want to think about them. Amy Grace
