Posted - Feb 17 2010 : 1:20:08 PM Ever have one of those days when you think that your super farmgirl and you can handel anything, and then the universe challenges you on that concept? Welcome to my Wed.
Got up this morning at 5:00 like normal, jumped in the shower, did a little work on the computer, got the kids' breakfast on and them up and out the door, jumped in the car to go run a "quick" errand.. and blew (kid you not) two tires... which had it been one.. Ok.. that is what spares are for.. but two... oh and of course the place only had one... so, I waited. As the day would have it... 2 other cars were having the same issues.. (yep must have been either something on throad... or we all drew the short straw).. anyway, I met the cutest little gal.. a wedding planner... who was late for a meeting with a client because of our shared adventure.. turned out she was having a way worse time then me... My Les Schab guy showed up, fixed my tires and was ready to help her before her "help" even called back.. So while he went back and go her a tire, I took her to her meeting.. So what was possibly meant to be a bad morning, turned out providing me with a new Farmgirl friend... and then to add to the good mojo a local reporter called to ask for a quick phone interview.... for a local piece.. Sweet... Although, I have to say, I am glad to be back home... now.. were is the tylenol?

Posted - Feb 17 2010 : 9:58:40 PM Funny how things end up working out, huh? I'm glad the day ended better for you! My grandpa used to tell me to "Look for the blessing in the clouds". Didn't know what that meant until I grew up...

Posted - Feb 17 2010 : 7:16:57 PM Rene', that is strange that there were other people with 2 tires blown at the same time as you. Did they tell you what caused that to happen? And what a great way to meet a new friend.
