                Posted - Feb 12 2010 : 5:52:18 PM We've been reading books about the Iditarod with our kiddos and just began watching a movie about it tonight.  At bedtime, my 5 year old daughter asked, "Mommy, how many more years till I can be in the junior Iditarod?"     Ummmmmmmmmmm. . .

                Posted - Feb 13 2010 : 08:14:37 AM Several years ago I lived in Alaska and helped sponsor an Iditarod team.  We watched the start of the race and I believe two women started that year and one won.  If you can dream it you can do it.

                Posted - Feb 13 2010 : 08:08:39 AM I have done a lot of things that I was told not to even try. I was the first female to finish Automotive vo-tech in my high school. My dad is a contractor and I worked with for years.
