I havent gotten to post much lately. I am now working in an antique mall two days a week and have been babysitting three days. I love being back in the working class even though its part time and also doing what I love. It is a big mall and the owner lets me do as I please, of course I was extremly happy when he let me have a garden booth. One of the things he is doing special is a china replacement service, so if any of you are looking for anything please let me know.He has more dishes than I have ever seen in my life. Those big beautiful bowls scare me to death. But we do have several primitive booths with the things more to my liking, so far I have also been a good customer also .Do any of you remember the girl that needed the bachlor button pattern dishes, I have some pcs that I will give her, So far its been a busy month. I have so much to get caught up on,but at least I have my cabin house done and it has been occupied two or three nights a week. One of these days I am going to spend a whole day and night in it with a good book. Love all you farmgirls Miss Wilma

Oh good! I was hoping you were "cleaning up" the one in town that functions as an "antique salvage yard!"!!!

It sounds like (maybe tax return money?) will aid my shopping excursion when we come to visit in the Spring. I think the garden booth sounds so neat--and right up your alley. Everything you touch just blooms!

I'm glad Violet isn't too heavy, because my knee keeps giving out and I'm sure, all those years of ballet haven't been kind, so I'm probably headed for a knee surgery in the next couple of years. I can't bend down because I'll never get back up!!! Trying to lose a few pounds, too, so that might help.

Violet also knows "no no" but she smirks at you when you say it and just touches the "no no" more!!! Little dickens! Can't wait to see baby Brian!

How exciting. Sounds like the owner found the perfect person to work. I am going to see how far Cave City is from Cincinnati and plan a weekend trip. Hopefully I can get a couple of your pillows while I am there.

Will be glad to see you Laura, come anytime,Jonnie this mall is a new one that has just opened, it is a great mall,I hate to see them that looks like a huge yard sale with antique prices. This one has lots of mdse for the rich and lots for the more thrifty minded like me. We are moving in an estate this week so I am looking forward to that. I am being careful spending my self. But I have found some neat things. I found a solid cherry table and chairs that will seat 8 or 10 for 250.00.I love the garden booth and have already been potting plants for it.Jonnie be glad little Violet is not so heavy, Little Man is 28 pounds and 32 long. So yeah he is a big one, he is walking and into everything, but I have taught him no no .He goes to every door and shakes that little finger no no no, He is not eating like he should. She still has him on the breast and I dont think she will ever wean him, its so funny now he tries to take her shirt off. Jonnie I gave him his first ice cream cone, it was hilarious and he does love them. Janice there is a walnut pie safe there. One man brought in a large load of wonderful furniture.

Can't wait to visit your mall, Wilma. This winter is just too long. A friend of Susan and David(she works with David and is Susan's vet) is looking for a pie safe. Are there any in the mall?

Mornin' Miss Wilma!!!

I've BEEN to that antique mall, long before I had the pleasure of meeting you and Sterl. So glad that they've hired an "expert"!!!

You just can't believe how Violet has grown, though she's still on the small side (just shy of 20 lbs) and we're happily planning her 1st birthday party for the end of the month. Bet your little one is just crazy big, now and talkin' up a storm and walkin' so fast you can hardly keep up with him! I'm really glad you get to spend that time with him!!!

Justin and I can't wait for Spring...it's coming, I feel it! We had 4 baby deer in the backyard this early a.m, and robin's galore, so they're telling me something!

Hello Miss Wilma I am gearing up to come visit you. It has been a long winter. Very busy. I miss you something fierce. As soon as the weather clears up a little. I am taking four days off the first week in March. But I may not be able to wait that long.

Ph miss wilma! I SOO do not need to add anything to my house at this time, but that mall is just tempting me something fierce!! I may not be able to take it! Knob Lick is feeling closer by the day!
miss wilma Posted - Feb 01 2010 : 6:52:42 PM
The good thing is I work two days a week and dont have to pay booth rent or commission. Funny thing the owner just called me and has just bought an estate. So he wants me to go pick out the the things to put in the mall. Perhaps I will find something I like. By the way girls the mall is located in Cave City Ky. Caveland Antique Mall.

Good to hear from you Miss Wilma - good luck working in the Antique Mall - I know I could get into some big trouble working around antiques, as in I wouldn't actually get any of my paycheck home:D
