My dad reported seeing the first robin of the season today--usually they don't appear till around Lincoln's birthday. So although it's still cold here (temps in the teens this morning), I know spring is not far away. What signs of spring have you seen recently?

We have no signs of spring yet, but most of the ground is covered with snow and big drifts.

Karen, how are you doing after that fire. I just read about it when I went to your ETSY?

No signs of spring here but my heart lifted when I heard the weatherman say that Spring is just around the corner.

Before the house burned just a couple of dys so it was like Dec.18th it was raining here in Ga and I looked out my front window and I not only saw 1 robin but at least 10 maybe more they were everywhere I called the kids to come look. I guess they like to play in the rain just like the kids do. Blessings, Karen

I saw my first Robin today ,chirping away in the tree. I was really happy to see it.I also have bulbs and other stuff coming through the ground. We have had a very mild January. I just hope it doesn't turn bitter cold in February.
I haven't been on here in months . It is nice to be back

Kris:
As I said earlier, my red maple tree is sprouting buds. The other morning, I was walking down the driveway to the mailbox and could hear many bees buzzing. I hope Spring is soon.

When the snow melted earlier this month I saw little baby blades of green grass! It is now under six inches of snow though! :( I am hoping spring hurries up and gets here soon!!

I saw a honey bee today when I picked up my hubby. Just one. Is that a sign of spring? It got in the car but I shooed it back out. I was glad to see it, though. Nothing else yet around here. We are supposed to get snow this weekend. I am so not likin' that.

I have a red maple tree that has buds on it. The bees are all over that tree! Spring can't come fast enough for me.

I live in Michigan and I've seen the grass. Usually this is a sign of Spring, but unfortunately I think we just had a warmer January than usual. :)
